Introduced to the public on 13 November 2011, ‘Tiger & turle – magic mountain’ by Hamburg-based duo Heike Mutter / Ulrich Genth is a large walkable outdoor sculpture on the Heinrich Hildebrand Höhn in Duisburg, Germany. Resting on the highest point of the undulating park, the rollercoaster-like structure allows visitors to walk along its elevated lanes with views of the western Ruhr.

For a fine arts project at his university, Joel Brochu was tasked with using the pointillism technique, invented by post-Impressionist painter Georges Seurat, where small dots of pure color are repeatedly applied to a canvas until it forms an image. The original project called on him to recreate a piece of furniture. Using 22 different shades of paint to form a chair, he completed the task.

The new minimalistic Solid Ho clock by Paula Collective exhibits the time in an unorthodox manner, by replacing the standard numerals we all love and depend to geometric shapes. The twelve shapes gradually transform and evolve from a tetrahedron to a dodecahedron stellata.
